The famous Bowery mural space was ritualistically whitewashed over the weekend, in preparation for the latest installment in a long series of famed street artists. The past few days, Retna has been affixing his signature brand of scrit. This is how it looked on Tueday night, March 6th.
Olek, the famed crochet artist (who once completely covered the Wall St. bull in crochet work), had a private exhibit at Primary Wave, near Union Square. The exhibit was complete with live models donning crocheted full-body suits.
TED award winner, JR put up a new mural today on Houston Street, in NYC. The piece graces the same wall that has featured works by Keith Haring, Os Gemeos, Shepard Fairey, and most recently, Kenny Scharf. Read the coverage on Curated.

It was so cool to hangout with and shoot Os Gemeos. I have been a huge fan of their work for a long time. I also have a bit of favoritism for them, when it comes to street art, being that they are Brazilian. Be sure to check out the coverage on HS.
