Shipley & Halmos held their Spring 2010 preview this week at their Greene St. showroom in NYC. I was a fan of basically everything that I saw. But, I particularly liked the green leather shoes and accessories. Check the coverage over here.

Hennessy launch of KAWS bottle design and NYC’s New Museum
KAWS recently teamed up with Hennessy on a new bottle design. They kicked things off with a soiree at NYC’s New Museum, on Bowery. ?uestlove of the roots was manning the turntables. KAWS, was of course on hand mixing and mingling. Recap over here.
Olek Exhibit at Primary Wave, NYC
Olek, the famed crochet artist (who once completely covered the Wall St. bull in crochet work), had a private exhibit at Primary Wave, near Union Square. The exhibit was complete with live models donning crocheted full-body suits.
JR’s Mural on Houston Street, NYC
TED award winner, JR put up a new mural today on Houston Street, in NYC. The piece graces the same wall that has featured works by Keith Haring, Os Gemeos, Shepard Fairey, and most recently, Kenny Scharf. Read the coverage on Curated.
KAWS “Passing Through” Companion at the NYC Standard Hotel
