The famous Bowery mural space was ritualistically whitewashed over the weekend, in preparation for the latest installment in a long series of famed street artists. The past few days, Retna has been affixing his signature brand of scrit. This is how it looked on Tueday night, March 6th.
Brian Donnelly a/k/a KAWS opened a new installation in Atlanta over President’s Day weekend 2012. The Exhibit featured the traveling companion that was at the New York City Standard Hotel for most of the winter. Indoors, KAWS had a large mural on display in the atrium portion of the museum, as well as other canvases and sculptures. Check the coverage on HS, here.
